My fascination with Chicago began at an early age.   As a high school student, I rode the train past the bungalows and two flats and as we finally approached the LaSalle Street Station the excitement of being downtown on my way to Saturday classes at the Art Institute of Chicago was ever present.  Through the years I have explored a variety of subjects and media.  Watercolor is now my media of choice and the majority of my paintings reflect some aspect of my Chicago experience. The changing seasons and skyline, the neighborhoods, the sports teams and fans and warmth of friends and strangers provide a continuing wealth of inspiration.
